Sophomore Andy Urban tied the
Hutchinson single-season record for shutouts when he twirled
his third shutout and seventh complete game in a two-hit
shutout of Cloud County on Sunday. Urban struck out four and
got 10 groundball outs. One day earlier, Urban earned a win
in relief, tossing 1 2-3 innings in a 12-9 come-from-behind
victory. Urban is now 9-2 with a 1.38 earned-run average.
As a starter, Urban is 6-1 with a 1.62 ERA. He is currently
on a streak of 17 1-3 consecutive scoreless innings.
