Sophomore Cooper Langley hit .500 over the week
(11 for 22) and extended his hitting streak to
nine games with hits in every game last week.
Langley had three multi-hit games including two
three-hit games. He had four extra base hits �
three doubles and a home run � and he drove in
runs in four of six games. Langley tied a career
high with four RBIs against Longview.

Sophomore Zac Butler picked up his sixth win of
the season against Coffeyville on Sunday, April
7th, by the score 5-2. He went seven innings
allowing two runs on five hits while striking
out three and walking none. He came back on
Saturday, April 13th to defeat Independence
12-0. He again went all 7 innings, allowing
just 2 hits while striking out 4 and again,
walking none. In 6 days he had two
complete game victories. Butler has a
season record of 7-1.
