Comments: Becca Boan tied a school record nailing eight 3-point baskets in JCCC's overtime road loss to Fort Scott Saturday night. Boan hit 9-of-15 shots, including 8-of-11 from 3-point range, and 2-of-2 from the line to finish with 28 points. She also had four rebounds and two assists. She followed that effort with an 18-point, seven-rebound peformance against Coffeyville Monday night. Boan averages 16.6 points and 4.5 rebounds per game. She has 71 3-point baskets this season, the third highest season total in JCCC history.

Comments: Taushelle Rushing led Seward County in both victories last week over Pratt (70-55) and Garden City (67-56). Against Pratt, Rushing scored 21 points with five rebounds and four steals. Rushing then added 13 points, six rebounds and seven steals against GCCC. Additionally, Rushing ranks 2nd in the Region VI in Field Goal percentage (.588)
