Katy Davenport, JCCC's leading scorer at 17.7 points per game, poured in 20 points and haulded down five rebounds to lead the Lady Cavaliers to a 66-53 win over Hesston, and a seventh straight NJCAA Region VI title. Davenport hit 8-16 shots, and was 4-of-7 from the free throw line. Earlier in the week, Davenport hit for 22 points in a loss to Coffeyville. She also pulled down 10 rebounds. Davenport has scored double figures in 28 of JCCC's 31 games. She has reached 20 or more points 14 times, including five of her last six games.

Comments: Taushelle Rushing led Seward County in a victory over No. 11 Cloud County C.C. 64-58, in overtime last Wednesday night. Rushing led SCCC withy 16 points and seven steals against the Lady T-Birds. Rushing scored eight of Seward County's 13 overtime points.
