Kina recorded double-doubles in both Lady Thunderbird victories last week. She scored 10 points and pulled down 13 rebounds to go with 3 blocked shots and 4 steals in a 60-58 win over Seward County. Kina had 23 points, 14 rebounds and 3 blocked shots in a 96-68 win over Pratt.

Comments: Last week in 2 Lady Conq wins she scored 39 points vs. Pratt; 13 for 15 from the field & 3 for 5 from the 3 point line, 10 for 11 from the free throw line, & 12 rebounds! Against Butler county on Sunday Aroha scored 22 points, 2 for 4 from three point line, 8 for 8 from the free throw line, 6 rebounds, & 3 assist. Totals for the week are 61 points = 30.5 PPG avg. 18 rebounds = 9 RPG; 18 for 19 at the free throw line = 94.7 %; 19 for 32 from the field = 59.3 %; 5 for 9 from 3 pointers = 55.5%; & 6 assist.

Comments: Katy Davenport, JCCC's leading scorer at 18 points per game, poured in on average 24 points per game in her team's three games last week. Davenport began the week with a 21 points, six rebound effort in a 68-62 home win over Highland. She followed with a 27-point, 10-rebound night to lead JCCC to a 75-66 win over Fort Scott. She capped the week finishing with 24 points and six rebounds in her team's 64-73 setback on the road at Coffeyville. Davenport shot an impressive 57 percent from the field (26-45) and 72 percent from the line (18-25). She was perfect from 3-point range, connecting on both attempts.

Comments: Last week, Chambe scored 21 points at Colby, 16 points at Cloud County and 13 points at home against Garden City. Chambe recorded a career-high 14 rebounds in the Lady Saints 80-67 win at home against Garden City. Chambe averaged 16.7 points and 10.0 rebounds per game last week.
