Johnson turned in a double double with 19 points and 11
assists in Barton 78-77 heartbreaking loss at Pratt
Saturday in the Cougars only game of the week. Johnson hit
7-of-10 shots for the Cougars and is the 2nd leading
scorer in the West this season for the 21-2 Cougars.

Freshman Sanijay Watts has continued his solid play
for the Cowley Tigers. Watts scored 19 points (7-14 FG)
9 rebounds and 4 assists in an 87-81 win over Allen
County on Wednesday. He followed that up with 21 points
(8-12 FG) 11 rebounds and 5 assists in an 85-79 win
against Labette on Saturday. Watts continues to lead the
Tigers in scoring at 16 points/gm and rebounding at 6
rebounds/gm. Cowley is now 12-10 overall and 6-4 in the
Jayhawk East Division.

Bateko Francisco led the way for two wins on the road
for Fort Scott CC against Labette CC & KCK CC who
were all tied in 2nd place to start the week. Now, Fort
Scott CC has sole possession of 2nd place. For the
season, Bateko is averaging 19.3 points and 5.1
rebounds.

Anthony Spencer

Guard
Anthony Spencer had a big week for the Cavaliers,
posting back-to-back double-doubles. He poured in a
career high 34 points and had 10 rebounds while leading
JCCC to a 96-70 win over Highland. He followed with a
14-point, 13-rebound effort in a one-point loss to
conference leader Coffeyville. Spencer averages 13.2
points and 8.5 rebounds per game on the season.

Topeka Highland Park High School
Topeka, Kansas
Sophomore Theron Wilson led the Saints last week by
posting three consecutive double-doubles. Wilson
continues to lead the Region VI in scoring (21.3 ppg.)
and the nation in free throws (155). Wilson has now
recorded 17 career double-doubles, and has scored in
double-figures 43 times in his career, and posted
double-figures in rebounds 17 different occasions.
