65 points, 32 rebounds and 18 steals is what Shamar
Acuay accomplished this week. The first game vs Butler
he scored 27 points, grabbed 12 rebounds and 8 steals.
The second game vs Hutch he lead his team to a win over
Hutchinson where he recorded a triple double; 38 points,
20 rebounds and 10 steals. He scored 26 points in the
first half. |

Sophomore forward Rory Spencer had a big week, averaging
21.3 points and 8.0 rebounds, helping the Cavaliers to a
2-1 record. Spencer began the week scoring a career high
28 points and 11 rebounds in an 89-75 road victory at
Highland. He followed with 11 points and five boards in
a loss to nationally ranked Cowley, then capped the week
with a 25-points, eight-rebound, 3-block effort in
JCCC¹s first home win over Independence since 2002. |
