Gianna Woods helped lead the Lady Tigers to two more victories this week with wins over KCK and Neosho.  Against KCK she scored 15 points shooting 6-14 from the floor and a perfect 3-3 from the free throw line and pulled down 8 rebounds.  Against Neosho on Saturday, Gianna scored a career high 32 points on 12-20 shooting and went a perfect 8-8 from the free throw line and pulled down another 7 rebounds.

Karli had a big week and was extremely efficient in leading the Scotties to a 1-1 record.  Karli scored 24 on 10-15 shooting against Fort Scott on Wednesday.  In 22 minutes she also shot 4-5 from the FT line and pulled down 7 rebounds.  On Saturday against a Labette team with tremendous post play and depth Abbey scored 23 on 8-13 shooting.  She also pulled down 6 boards and shot 7-8 from the FT line.  Averages for the week:  23.5 PPG, 6.5 RPG, 64% from the floor, 85% from the FT line

Bird had a big week helping Johnson to a 2-0 week with wins over Neosho and Coffeyville.  Against Neosho Taylor had 23 points, 13 rebounds, 4 assists, and 1 steal.  Versus Coffeyville she had 13, 18 boards, 6 assits, and 3 steals

Freshman Blessing Uba had a huge week in helping the No. 24 Lady Dragons to three victories, a pair over nationally ranked teams. Against No. 2 Seward County on Monday, Uba had a season-high 22 points and posted her sixth double-double of the season with 22 points and 10 rebounds. Uba also had three blocked shots to raise her team lead to 33 blocks for the season.
