Purpose: The Purpose of the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Athletic Conference shall be to provide a well-regulated program of intercollegiate athletics consistent with the policy of service to youth within the community who can profit from these services.  College athletes are expected to be students first, with their participation in athletics a part of a well-rounded educational experience.  Their personal conduct is expected to be in the highest tradition of amateur athletics.

Conference Activities:  The Conference Board of Directors acts to organize and regulate the activities of its members' athletic programs by the promulgation of rules and regulations for each sport which are contained in the "By Laws" of the organization.  Each Conference college is entitled to one vote in Conference matters, which is exercised by the president of the college or his designee.  The Jayhawk Conference is recognized nationally as being one of the best organized and regulated athletic conferences.  It is also viewed as one of the most competitive in a broad spectrum of the sports covered.
