Betty won the 5k race at the Tabor Invitational by over 31 seconds. Her time of 17:19 is also a new school record for Colby.

Jeniffer lead the Cowley Tiger women with a 1st place individual finish and a 3rd place team finish in the Bison Invitational at Shawnee, Oklahoma. Jeniffer ran the first mile in 5:38 and the 2nd mile in 11:55 before finishing in 18:30 for the 5,000 meter course. Jeniffer's time of 18:30 ties the Cowley 5K XC school record held by '05 Cowley All-American Linet Birir.

Quinter, KS

Sophomore Jackie Jamison of Quinter, Kan., raced to a fifth-place finish at the Tabor Invitational last weekend, crossing the finish line with a personal-best time of 19:03.85. She bettered her previous best mark in the 5k race by 1:14. She also ranks as the No. 1 American runner in the NJCAA.
