Simmons helped Hutchinson regain control of its 35-12 victory over Highland with a 91-yard kickoff return for a touchdown in which he broke three tackles and dashed up the sideline. That play helped HCC snap a 13-game losing streak.

These stats gave him the record for the most catches in a game as well as the most yards in a game. Andre had 1 touchdown of 80 yards and had a catch on a third and long from the 44 that landed him on the one yard line setting up another score. In just three games Andre Simmons has 26 catches for 564 yards.
