Sophomore quarterback Luke Barnes connected on his first 16 passes and threw for a season-high 310 yards to lead Hutchinson past Highland 36-20 on Saturday at Gowans Stadium. Barnes, the owner of 13 school records already, finished 26 of 34 for 310 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions. He also ran 10 times for a career-best 39 yard and a 6-yard touchdown run in leading the Blue Dragons to a must-Jayhawk Conference victory.  Last Week's Stats

Freshman linebacker Darrius Wright was a disruptive influence all night in leading the Blue Dragons past the high-powers Scotties. Wright had six total tackles, five solo stop. He had a sack/fumble that led to an 11-yard loss. Wright had three tackles for a loss of 19 yards.    Last Week's Stats
