McLean wins 1000^th game as ACCC Head Coach

Iola, KS – Allen County Community College baseball team downed the Fort Scott Community College Greyhounds 9-1 on the road Monday April 16, 2007, giving Head Coach Valis Mclean his 1000^th career victory as the Red Devils Head Coach. Now in his 30^th season at ACCC, McLean’s career record is 1000-561. In 2006 Coach McLean was inducted into National Junior College Athletic Associations Baseball Hall of Fame. Coach McLean has taken the Red Devil Baseball Program to the National Tournament in 1983 and 2000.

A special recognition will be given to Coach McLean on April 28^th in Iola, Kansas, between the double header games against the Fort Scott Community College Greyhounds. The start time for the game is 1:00 pm.
