Johnson County Community College freshman forward Emily
Leeper netted a school and Region VI record six goals while
powering the Lady Cavaliers to a 13-0 road victory over
Coffeyville Community College, last Wednesday. Her six-goal
effort was just two shy of the national record. Leeper, a
graduate of Topeka High School, also had an assist, giving her
13 total points, which ties her with former JCCC All-American
Shannen Taylor for points tallied in a game. Leeper had a goal
and an assist in JCCC’s 5-2 win at Garden City in the season
opener. |
