Cindy Benitez made her college
debut a memorable one for the Butler Grizzlies.
Benitez scored all three goals in a 3-2 TO win vs
Western Nebraska on 08.29.09.
She then followed up with an encore performance the
next day by adding two goals in a 4-1 win vs Dakota County.
Cindy's third match saw her doing more of
the same as she netted another two goals and an assist in an
8-0 win vs Northern Oklahoma.
Although she did not score, Benitez had
both assists in a 2-3 loss vs defending national champions
and #1 ranked Lewis and Clark.
After her first week of college soccer, Cindy has 7
goals and 3 assists.

Ali McMahan
Freshman
Forward
Topeka, Kansas
Ali McMahan netted hat tricks
in each of her first two collegiate games to lead JCCC to
victories over Independence and Cloud County. Against
Independence, McMahan had four goals and two assists in
record 22-0 victory. She followed with three goals in a 5-0
win at Cloud County. Her 16 total points scored rank third
in the NJCAA. |
