Bertha Fajardo, 2009 Team Captain, helped the the Grizzlies
to a midweek 6-0 win over Garden City. Fajardo and Butler's
backline now have two shutouts on the season and have not
allowed a goal in conference play. Fajardo also recorded
her first collegiate goal late in the second half on an
assist from Ortensia Alcantara.

victory over Conference foe Dodge City on 9/13.

attempts in two games this week.

5'7" Goalie
Mulvane, KS
Ybarra had 14 Saves against 17 Shots on Goal as Cowley split
two games this week.

JCCC freshman forward Whitney Peavler led
JCCC to a victory over No. 9 Southwestern Illinois, netting
the game's only goal.
It is Peavler's second goal of the season.

Chelsea Myers

5'2" Forward
Topeka, KS
Chelsea Myers had her second and third multi-point games of
the season in two victories over Neosho County and Allen
County. With her eight points during the week, Myers moved
up to No. 3 on the HCC career points list. She is No. 4 on
the career goals list and is two assists away from breaking
the career assists mark.
