Erika had another all around great effort against Independence, going 5-7 in a double header split, while playing error free defense at short. She is hitting .449 with 5 HRs this spring.

Kristi pitched the best game of her young career - a 2-hit shutout with no walks, her second consecutive complete-game win. She is now 5-4 on the year with a 3.02 ERA.

Lacey Dixon played a part in all four wins for the Lady Cavaliers last weekend.  She started two games and came in relief in the other two. On Friday against Dodge City, Dixon faced 22 batters, allowing only three hits, a walk and struck out seven. In the second game, Dixon took over in the circle in relief and faced 15 batters, allowing only four hits and seven strikeouts.   On Sunday against No. 15 Pratt, Dixon again went the distance in the first game.  She faced 27 batters, allowing seven hits, no walks and struck out eighth.  Dixon was again called upon to relieve in the second game.  She struck out five of the 14 batters she faced, and allowed only one hit.
