Taylor Nelson hit .538 (14-for-26) with three doubles, two home runs and nine RBI last week helping JCCC to a 6-2 record.  Against No. 2 ranked Iowa Central, Nelson ripped two doubles and drove in a run, helping the Lady Cavaliers to a 6-1 victory.

Lacey Dixon led JCCC to a 4-1 record last week in games she pitched, including a a 6-1 win over No. 2 ranked Iowa Central.  Dixon struck out 30 batters in 32 innings of work.  She also only allowed three earned runs.

Jamie Tanno hit .476 over the week with six extra base hits and a slugging percentage of 1.000. Tanno had an on-base percentage of .586, drawing three walks and four hit-by-pitches. Tanno helped the Lady Dragons to a 6-2 week and a season-long six-game winning streak.

Freshman Elise Beguelin went 3-1 last week, the only loss was a 10-inning setback to Neosho County after the game went to the international tie-breaker rule. Beguelin had an ERA of 0.76 for the week and struck out a season-high 12 against Independence and again against Kansas City. Beguelin�s overall record is 8-7
