Diaz had three multi-hit games this week for the Lady Saints
while hitting .526 overall and driving in 3 runs. Thursday
against Colby she finished the double header 5 for 7 with 5
runs scored, going 2 for 3 in the opener and 3 for 4 in game
two. Friday against Trinidad State she was a perfect 4 for
4 in game who and scored two runs while driving in another.

Taylor was a perfect 3-0 for Seward County this week,
helping the Lady Saints to wins over Garden City, Colby, and
Trinidad State. Tuesday she came up huge for Seward,
throwing a complete game shutout over an explosive Garden
City team, allowing just 2 hits in a much needed 1-0 win.
Thursday she gave the Lady Saints another Jayhawk West win
with a complete game victory over Colby without allowing an
earned run and she picked up her third win of the week as
she defeated Trinidad on Friday. Taylor went 25 innings
without allowing an earned run in a span of 5 games
including this week before Trinidad finally got one off of
her late Friday.
