Freshman Jelena Simic collected a career-high 36 kills and 24 digs in a five-game match victory against Lake Land College on Saturday. Simic also posted 25 kills and a .471 hitting percentage against Wallace State C.C.- Hanceville. She led the Lady Saints with four consecutive double/doubles last week. For the season, Simic has a team-high 20 doubles/doubles. Simic has now tallied seven matches this season with over 20 kills, including two with at least 30. Simic is currently ninth in the NJCAA in kills per game (4.53) and third in the nation in total kills (593).
