2026 All-KJCCC East Division Baseball Teams
COLBY, Kan. – The Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference has announced the 2026 All-KJCCC East Division Baseball teams and winners of the major postseason honors. The awards, which were voted on by each of the league head coaches, include five individuals from two different conference institutions bringing home major accolades.
Major award winners from the 2026 regular season are Most Valuable Player Colin Coonradt of Johnson County, Co-Pitchers of the Year Liam Roche (Johnson County) and Nicholas Westendorp (Coffeyville), Freshman of the Year Ryan Bradford of Johnson County, and Coach of the Year Eric Horner of Johnson County.
Most Valuable Player: Colin Coonradt (Johnson County)
Hitting the second most home runs of any KJCCC baseball player and the most of any player in conference games with 21, Coonradt led all KJCCC baseball players in both divisions in both on-base percentage (.594) and slugging percentage (1.129) while totaling 202 total bases and 94 runs driven in. 50 of Coonradt’s 83 hits this season went for extra bases as the sophomore also drew a league-best 53 walks, ranking fifth nationally in total bases, and eighth in both runs scored and walks.
Freshman of the Year: Ryan Bradford (Johnson County)
The league leader in batting average and home runs, Bradford was nearly unstoppable at the plate by hitting .459 with 35 round trippers and 97 total RBI while ranking in the top 10 of the KJCCC in 12 different offensive categories. Bradford posted an on-base percentage of .534 and a slugging percentage of 1.082, stealing 25 bases and striking out just 30 times in 264 plate appearances. Nationally, Bradford ranks second in home runs and hits (101) while leading the country in total bases (238) and runs scored (107).
Co-Pitcher of the Year: Liam Roche (Johnson County)
Recording a perfect 13-0 record this season across 15 starts, Roche tossed three complete games and had one shutout while allowing just 25 earned runs across 66.2 innings of work. Striking out 104 batters, Roche led all KJCCC players in both strikeouts and pitching wins and leads all NJCAA players in wins while ranking second in strikeouts.
Co-Pitcher of the Year: Nicholas Westendorp (Coffeyville)
Westendorp made 15 appearances for Coffeyville on the mound, including seven starts, while throwing 58.2 innings and allowing just 24 total earned runs for a 3.68 earned run average. In conference games, Westendorp’s ERA was 2.79 while averaging 10.01 strikeouts per nine innings across 38.2 innings of work. Westendorp struck out a season-high 11 against Labette on April 23rd in a complete game shutout, allowing just three total runs across his final three conference starts (18.2 innings).
Coach of the Year: Eric Horner (Johnson County)
Horner helped Johnson County to a 54-2 regular season record and just the second unbeaten season in conference play in KJCCC history as the Cavaliers went 32-0 in league play to join the 1998 Cowley College baseball team as the only unbeaten teams in conference play in league history. Offensively, Johnson County led the KJCCC in runs (751), hits (732), home runs (188), RBI (709), extra-base hits (369), total bases (1,515), batting average (.395), on-base percentage (.496), and slugging percentage (.818) On the defensive end, the Cavaliers had the lowest ERA of any KJCCC team (4.09) and batting average against (.235), allowing 93 earned runs in 32 conference games.
