Coffeyville freshman Grace Batdorf had an exceptional week at the plate, batting a sizzling .818 (9-for-11) while clubbing five doubles and one homerun. Batdorf is currently second in the KJCCC with a .511 batting average.

Johnson County sophomore right-handed pitcher Jordan Harrison ran her record to 14-1 on the season with two complete-game victories last week, highlighted by a perfect game in a 12-0 win over Hesston on April 19. It is just the seventh perfect game in team history. She followed with a complete-game win at Highland on April 22, allowing four runs off three hits with 13 strikeouts in six innings of work. In the second game, she came in to close out the game allowing just a walk with two strikeouts in 1 1/3 innings.
