2017 KJCCC Baseball Players of the Week, Week 7

Pitching a complete game shutout on Sunday, Nebraska freshman Jarrett Seaton sent down six batters on strikeouts commanding the zone.  Seaton was able to cool off the Garden hitters who scored 19 runs on Saturday.  Seaton moves to 6-0 on the season lowering his ERA to 3.05. 

Tanner White hit .545 (6-11) this weekend while hitting for the cycle in Butler's three games at No. 8 Hutchinson. On Friday, Tanner was 1-3 in the first game with a 3-run home run, Butler's only three runs of the game. Then, in a game that started Friday and ended on Sunday due to weather, White was 3-5 at the plate with a single, double and another home run, driving in six runs. On Sunday, in game 3, he was 2-3 at the plate, driving in a run with a triple to left. White is hitting .310 on the season and is now tied for the team lead in home runs with seven.
