CHARLOTTE, NC – For the second-straight week, a Johnson County Community College baseball player has turned Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference East Division Player of the Week honors into NJCAA D1 Baseball Player of the Week honors after Ryan Bradford picked up his first national accolades of his career.

Ryan Bradford was a one-man wrecking crew in a four-game series sweep over Pratt for the number four-ranked Johnson County baseball team. The freshman from Imperial, Missouri hit .667 (nine-for-16) with three doubles, five home runs, seven runs scored, and nine runs driven in. In the opening game of the series, Bradford had a single, double, and home run, scored three times, and drove in three to lead the Cavaliers to a 10-7 win. He followed with a monster game, ripping two doubles and two home runs, scoring twice, and driving in three to help the Cavaliers pull out a 12-11 win. In the series final, Bradford belted two more homers and drove in three in a 12-0 blowout over the Beavers. Through 16 games, Bradford is hitting at a .508 clip (30-for-59) with 11 doubles, two triples, nine homers, 28 runs scored, and 33 RBI.
