2016 KJCCC Football Players of the Week, Week 2
Sophomore wide receiver Malik Stanley's 8 catches for 125 yards (avg 15.6 per catch) and a touchdown was big for the Coffeyville Red Ravens in securing their first victory of the year. His first quarter 14 yard touchdown catch helped extend Coffeyville's lead when the game was still tight.
Sophomore defensive end Ronheen Bingham seemingly lived in the Iowa Western backfield on Saturday as No. 16 Hutchinson knocked off the No. 6 Rivers 21-12 at Gowans Stadium. Bingham had 10 total tackles, including 3.5 tackles for loss and 0.5 quarterback sacks. Bingham made the play of the game on the final play of the contest. With the Dragons up only 15-12 and Iowa Western in the red zone. Bingham scooped up a fumble and traveled 77 yards for HCC's only touchdown of the game.
Freshmen Cooper Lee was strong for the Coffeyville Red Ravens special teams, he connected on two field goals (36 & 22 yards) along with going 7-7 on PAT's. He kicked off 10 times for 639 yards (63.9 avg) and 3 touchbacks. On the punting side, Lee landed 2 of his 7 punts inside Ellsworth's 20 yard line.
