2016 KJCCC Football Players of the Week, Week 4
Marquis Terry, Highland sophomore, rushed the ball 24 times for 158 yards and 3 TD's. He averaged 6.5 yards per carry and his longest run of the day was 39 yards. He also had a reception for a successful 2 point conversion.
Ovenson Cledanord, Dodge City sophomore, picked off Ellsworth quarterback Paris Chambers with 7:43 remaining in the fourth quarter as the Panthers were driving and ran back the interception 40 yards for a touchdown to seal the game.
Alex Becker, Dodge City freshman, averaged 40.7 yards per punt on a day where field position was key in holding the Panther offense in check. In the fourth quarter, Becker booted punts of 46 yards and 52 yards to flip the field for the Conquistadors, giving Ellsworth a long field to try and tie the game. Becker's average of 41.0 yards per punt currently ranks 10th in the NJCAA.
