Players from Butler and Coffeyville earned KJCCC Weekly honors for the final week of the regular season.

After a thrilling 24-23 win over No. 10 Garden City, Butler running back Adarius Thomas was named the league's Offensive Player of the Week. Grizzly kicker Carson Arndt earned special teams honors for the third-straight week. Coffeyville linebacker Allen Henry was named the league's Defensive Player of the Week.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK - Adarius Thomas, Butler
Adarius Thomas, sophomore running back from Newton, GA, had a big day against the No. 1 defense in the conference rushing for 89-yards in the Grizzlies 24-23 win on the road at Garden City. Garden City had given up just 66-yards per game on the ground this season and Thomas himself went over that average while the team rushed for 191 yards. Thomas had 15 carries in the game rushing for 5.9 yards per carry and scoring a rushing touchdown in the first half that gave Butler a 14-3 lead. Thomas also had two receptions for 13 yards in the win.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK - Allen Henry, Coffeyville
Red Raven sophomore linebacker Allen Henry was key in the Red Ravens 19-9 victory over No. 3 Independence.  Henry recovered two fumbles in the contest to help keep the Pirates off the scoreboard in the low-scoring contest.  For the game, Henry had seven total tackles and the two big fumble recoveries.

SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYERS OF THE WEEK - Carson Arndt, Butler
Carson Arndt, freshman kicker from Wichita, KS, drilled a season-long 47-yard field goal while also going 3 of 3 on extra points in the Grizzlies' 24-23 win on the road at No. 10 Garden City Saturday afternoon. Arndt also had five kickoffs for a total of 259 yards with three touchbacks in the game. Arndt has made his last 25 extra points and is 45-48 on the season.
