(KJCCC) WICHITA, Kan. – Hutchinson was picked to win the conference title at the 2022 Football Media Day in Wichita. It is the third consecutive season the Blue Dragons have been picked to win the KJCCC crown.

The Predicted Order of Finish is a coaches' poll, voted on in the preseason. All seven head coaches participate.

Picked second was Garden City. The Broncbusters met Hutchinson in the 2021 KJCCC title game at Riverfront Stadium in Wichita, losing to the Blue Dragons. Hutchinson went on to play in the Salt City Bowl, while Garden City played in the inaugural Scooter's Coffee Bowl.

The rest of the KJCCC predicted order of finish was Independence third, Coffeyville fourth, Butler fifth, Dodge City sixth and Highland seventh.
