KJCCC FOOTBALL PLAYERS OF THE WEEK - WEEK 6
Players from Hutchinson and Butler take Week 6 honor of the NJCAA Football Players of the Week.
Meeting in a Top 10 battle on Saturday at Gowans Stadium in Hutchinson, the No. 2-ranked Blue Dragons defeated No. 9 Butler 27-19.
Hutchinson running back Dylan Kedzior was named Offensive Player of the Week for the second week in a row. Blue Dragon defensive lineman Nikko Taylor earned Defensive Player of the Week. Butler kicker Carson Arndt was named Special Team Player of the Week for the 2nd time this season.

Blue Dragon sophomore defensive end Nikko Taylor was a force, especially in the second half, to lead the No. 2-ranked Blue Dragon Football team to a 27-19 victory over No. 9 Butler on Saturday at Gowans Stadium. Taylor finished with 9 tackles, including 3.5 tackles for loss and two quarterback sacks. In the second half, the Taylor had six tackles with two quarterback sacks to hold the Grizzlies to just three points in the second half.

CARSON ARNDT, BUTLER - Special Teams Player of the Week
Carson Arndt, sophomore kicker from Wichita, KS, scored 13 of the Grizzlies 16 points Saturday night in the 27-16 road loss to No. 2-ranked Hutchinson. Arndt started the game making two field goals in the first quarter, a 40-yarder and 46-yarder to score the first six points of the game. Arndt would go onto make a 32-yard field goal in the second quarter and another 22-yarder in the fourth to keep the Grizzlies within striking distance. Arndt finished 4/5 with his only miss on the night was a 46-yard attempt. He was 1of 1 on extra points.
