2025-26 KJCCC Men's Basketball Players of the Week - Week 10
COLBY, Kan. – Leading their teams to key Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference men’s basketball victories last week, Dodge City Community College guard Rickey Loftin II and Fort Scott Community College forward Noah Porter have each been named KJCCC Men’s Basketball Player of the Week.
Rickey Loftin II – Dodge City (KJCCC Division 1 Men’s Basketball Player of the Week)
Dodge City men's basketball took over sole possession of first place in the KJCCC with a road win over Independence and a win at home over Seward County. Rickey Loftin II was key in both matchups as he dropped 27 points on eight-of-16 shooting and 10-for-13 at the charity stripe on the road against the Pirates while adding six rebounds, one assist, and two steals. The sophomore followed up three days later with 18 points on eight-of-13 shooting, along with nine rebounds, three assists, and one steal in the victory over Seward County to close out the week.
Noah Porter – Fort Scott (KJCCC Division 2 Men’s Basketball Player of the Week)
Porter helped lead Fort Scott to two quality wins last week as the Greyhounds defeated Metropolitan and Neosho County by double-digits. The freshman averaged 16.5 points and 6.0 rebounds on an efficient 24.5 minutes per game while shooting 70 percent from the floor. After opening the week with a 13-point, eight-rebound, and three assist game against Metropolitan, Porter helped FSCC earn a win in their KJCCC opener by scoring 20 points to go along with four rebounds in a road win at Neosho County.
