2025-26 KJCCC Men's Basketball Players of the Week - Week 13
COLBY, Kan. – Leading their respective teams to road wins over ranked teams last week, Coffeyville Community College guard Jack Sorrell and Johnson County Community College sophomore Aidan Wing have been named Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Men’s Basketball Players of the Week.
Jack Sorrell – Coffeyville (KJCCC Division 1 Men’s Basketball Player of the Week)
Jack Sorrell was a difference maker for the Red Ravens this week, helping the team to a pair of wins over Cowley and number 19 Dodge City. Sorrell returned from injury to post 11 points, four rebounds, and five assists in an 84-68 win over Cowley before taking his play on the road, where he finished with 17 points, seven rebounds, and 10 assists in a 98-86 win over Dodge City. It was Sorrell's first collegiate double-double as the freshman is now averaging 12.0 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per contest for a Red Raven team that is still in the hunt for a top seed in the NJCAA Region 6 Tournament.
Aidan Wing – Johnson County (KJCCC Division 2 Men’s Basketball Player of the Week)
Sophomore guard Aidan Wing averaged 15.0 points, shot 58 percent from the field, and grabbed 6.5 rebounds to help power the number three-ranked Cavaliers to wins over number 23 North Central Missouri and Highland last week. The wins keep JCCC's perfect record intact as the Cavaliers are now 24-0 this season.
