2016 KJCCC Men's Soccer Player of the Week, Week 3

Johnson County CC sophomore midfielder Edgar Valiente produced a big week for the Cavaliers. JCCC scored 12 goals in its three matches last week, and Valiente played in a part in 10 of them. He two goals and two assists in a 6-2 home win over Kansas City Kansas on Sept. 6. He provided the assist on JCCC's only goal in a neutral site loss to Lewis & Clark on Sept. 9, and he had two goals and three assists in the Cavaliers 5-2 win at Southwestern Illinois Sept. 11. His first goal against KCK proved to be the game winner, and his second assist against SWIC led to the game winning goal.

Eric Edge, Dodge City freshman, made his collegiate debut on Wednesday against Cloud County and did not disappoint, making eight saves including two saves during the extra time.
