2016 KJCCC Men's Soccer Players of the Week, Week 4

ario Ramirez, freshman, led Barton to two victories this past week with a goal and three assists.  In the Cougars' mid-week shutout of Dodge City, Ramirez accounted for both goals scoring the game winner just five minutes into the contest.   This past Sunday Ramirez dished out the equalizing goal before helping to seal Sunday victory with his third assist of the week while helping Barton snap a three-year losing streak to Pratt. 

Johnson County CC sophomore goalkeeper Caleb Cothrin registered his first shutout of the 2016 season last week, holding Cowley scoreless in a 3-0 road win. Cothrin stopped all eight shots he faced. It is the sixth shutout of his career at JCCC.
