2017 KJCCC D1 Softball Players of the Week, Week 8

Seward freshman Sydney Epp helped the Lady Saints to a pair of wins over Garden City last week, going 3 for 6 in the doubleheader with a pair of doubles, three runs scored, and two RBI's.  In game one she accounted for half of Seward's offense, driving home one and scoring a run for the Lady Saints.  In game two she banged a pair of doubles and scored a pair of runs in an 8-5 Seward win to complete the sweep.    

Monique Ashley improved to 19-2 on the year on Monday, spinning a five hit shutout in a Seward County win over Garden City.  In the victory she struck out seven to run her Jayhawk Conference leading total to 148 on the year.
