(KJCCC) Selected via KJCCC coaches, post-season awards for Division II softball have been announced.

Capturing the Division B conference title as well as the Plains District B Tournament title, the Highland Community College Lady Scotties led the way on the list of all-conference selections.

Highland head coach Heidi Jordan was named Coach of the Year, while Lady Scottie Lilli Weir was named the conference Most Valuable Player. All totaled, Highland had five players named First Team all-conference.

Labette, which finished as Division A conference champions, had four players named to the First Team.

Bradi Basler of Kansas City Kansas Community College was named the Freshman of the Year.
