Ryleigh Jones had a stellar debut for the T-Birds in their 2022 season opener as the Alma, Kansas native would hit two long balls and drive in four runs as part of a 13-7 win over the McPherson College JV team. After a third-inning two-run home run to center field in the bottom of the third, Jones would homer again in the fifth by showing off her wheels for an inside-the-park two-run home run that would cap off a 13-run outing for Cloud. Jones would also add a double in game one against the Bulldogs before going one-for-two in game two with a sacrifice fly and an RBI double that would get Cloud County on the board.
