KJCCC Kansas MTXE Women's Basketball Athletes of the Week, Week 10, 2017-18
Ericka Mattingly averaged 20 points and nine rebounds per game for the Butler women in two victories. Butler avenged two earlier losses, with a win over #15 Cowley on the road. She scored 21 with eight rebounds in that win, and had a double-double with 19 points and 10 rebounds against Barton, with five rebounds, two steals and two blocks for the Grizzlies.
Niccolly Ramalho helped lead the #3 Highland Scotties in 2 big Jayhawk Conference and Region 6 wins over #7 Labette on the road and #4 Johnson County at Home. The 5'7" Brazilian native, against Labette led the Scotties in scoring putting up 17 points, also pulled down 8 rebounds, dished out 4 assists and had 3 steals. Against #4 Johnson County Ramalho had a career high 25 points on an 8-13 (4-7 from 3) night as the Scotties won 108-65. She also had 5 steals and 4 rebounds in the victory. Ramalho is currently 1st in the nation in total steals with 95 and 3rd in total assists with 122.
