2025-26 KJCCC Women's Basketball Players of the Week - Week 11
COLBY, Kan. – Two first-time award winners have earned Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Women’s Basketball Player of the Week honors as Fort Hays Tech Northwest guard Marta Rodriguez and Johnson County freshman Anonda Ford have earned week 11 honors.
Marta Rodriguez – Fort Hays Tech Northwest (KJCCC Division 1 Women’s Basketball Player of the Week)
Rodriguez helped lift Fort Hays Tech Northwest to their first win of the season with a 30-point, nine-rebound, and three-steal performance in a 70-54 home win over Pratt. Shooting eight-of-13 from the field, Rodriguez's 30-point outing was a new career-best, while the nine rebounds were one shy of tying a career-best.
Anonda Ford – Johnson County (KJCCC Division 2 Women’s Basketball Player of the Week)
Anonda Ford helped power the number one-ranked Cavaliers to a 31-point victory over Labette last week by registering her fifth double-double of the season. The freshman finished with 19 points on eight-of-13 shooting and grabbed 10 rebounds. Ford currently ranks fourth in the conference in scoring average (15.2), sixth in rebounding (7.8), second in free throw percentage (73.7 percent), and leads the conference in field goal percentage (60.8 percent).
