COLBY, Kan. – Recording a career-high to help the Dodge City women’s basketball team earn a road win over Seward County, Conquistador sophomore Manuela Piljevic has been named the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Division 1 Women’s Basketball Player of the Week.

Dodge City capped the regular season with a tough road win over Seward County. Manuela Piljevic had a career night as she dominated the game for the Conquistadors, scoring a career-high 32 points on 10-19 shooting. Piljevic went six-of-eight from three-point range and six-for-six from the charity stripe, including two clutch late free throws to help the Conquistadors secure the win. The sophomore filled out the stat sheet with seven rebounds, three assists, and two steals.
