2025-26 KJCCC Women's Basketball Players of the Week - Week 4
COLBY, Kan. – A come-from-behind victory for NJCAA Division 2 top-ranked Johnson County Community College and the first Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference victory of the year for Barton Community College last week has led to KJCCC Women’s Basketball Player of the Week honors for Cavalier Layla Scott and Cougar Regina Donanu.
Regina Donanu - Barton (KJCCC Division 1 Women’s Basketball Player of the Week)
Donanu delivered a record-breaking performance this week for Barton, averaging 30.0 points on 50 percent shooting while breaking the program’s 25-year-old single-game scoring record. The sophomore guard opened the week scoring 17 points, grabbing six rebounds, and dishing out three assists against number one Dodge City before erupting for 43 points in Saturday’s win over Cloud County.
