2025-26 KJCCC Women's Basketball Players of the Week - Week 9
COLBY, Kan. – Two of the most productive scoring threats in the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference, Cloud County’s Camiah Muldrow and Johnson County’s Layla Scott have been named the KJCCC Women’s Basketball Week 9 Players of the Week.
Camiah Muldrow – Cloud County (KJCCC Division 1 Women’s Basketball Player of the Week)
Freshman Camiah Muldrow averaged 26.0 points on 44.4 percent shooting, including shooting 57.1 percent from behind the arc, in Cloud County's two road games in KJCCC play last week. Muldrow scored a game-high 32 points in the team's 80-73 come-from-behind road win over Fort Hays Tech Northwest on January 7, followed by a 20-point outing on 47.1 percent shooting to go with four rebounds in CCCC's narrow 61-59 road loss to Garden City. Muldrow has scored in double-digits in 13 straight games and currently ranks second in the KJCCC in scoring at 20.1 points per game.
Layla Scott – Johnson County (KJCCC Division 2 Women’s Basketball Player of the Week)
Layla Scott moved closer to the program’s all-time three-point record, draining six treys and finishing with a season-high 28 points as number one-ranked Johnson County Community College cruised to a 101-35 victory over Metropolitan Community College on Saturday afternoon. Scott now has 180 career three-pointers, leaving her just eight shy of the school record with half a season remaining. Her 28-point performance ranks as the second-highest scoring output of her career.
