2025-26 KJCCC Women's Basketball Players of the Week - Week 14
COLBY, Kan. – Averaging double-doubles and leading their teams to unbeaten weeks last week, Hutchinson Community College guard KaMyra Barber and Highland Community College freshman Cami Dalinghaus have both earned their first Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Women’s Basketball Player of the Week honors.
KaMyra Barber – Hutchinson (KJCCC Division 1 Women’s Basketball Player of the Week)
Blue Dragon freshman guard KaMyra Barber averaged a double-double and flirted with a triple-double in two huge Blue Dragon victories last week. In number 19 Hutchinson's 60-51 win over number six Dodge City, Barber had 11 points, eight rebounds, and five assists to avenge an earlier season loss to the Conquistadors. Three days later, in an 89-62 win at Cloud County, Barber scored 20 points on six of 11 shooting and posted her fourth double-double of the season with 12 rebounds. Barber just missed a triple-double with nine assists. For the Week, Barber averaged 15.5 points, shooting 47.4 percent from the floor while averaging 10 rebounds, seven assists, and 1.5 steals per game.
Cami Dalinghaus – Highland (KJCCC Division 2 Women’s Basketball Player of the Week)
Since joining the Scotties after helping Highland's volleyball team to a 29-9 record, Cami Dalinghaus has become indispensable on the basketball court as well, elevating the play and intensity up and down the lineup for HCC. The freshman had a standout pair of games this week, grabbing a double-double of 19 points and 11 rebounds while leading all scorers in Highland's win over Metropolitan CC before being one of three Scotties in double-digits to hang on for a Jayhawk Conference victory over Kansas City Kansas. Dalinghaus averaged 18.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 3.0 steals per game for HCC last week as part of a 2-0 week for the Scotties.
