2022 KJCCC Women's Soccer Division I Athletes of the Week, Wk. 3
Week 3 - Division I KJCCC Women's Soccer Athletes of the Week
Player: Nina Norshie - Barton
Nina Norshie recorded a pair of hat tricks and game winning goals this past week leading the 16th ranked Cougars to a pair of victories. Posting her fifth game of three or more goals, Norshie has quickly moved into the program top ten with twenty goals in just six games of the season. Norshie netted her first eventual game winner in Wednesday’s conference opener in the 18th minute, adding another goal later in the half giving Barton a three goal halftime lead, then tacked on two more within sixty seconds midway through the final half to ice the game. On Saturday Norshie put the Cougars out front in the 9th minute but with Barton clinging to a one goal halftime lead, Norshie found the net twice in second half play to give Barton a three goal cushion to the final six minutes.
Others nominated: Brooklyn Hunter (Butler) and Aimee Maher (Hutchinson)
Goalkeeper: Olivia Felix-Cardona - Hutchinson

After giving up an early goal, Felix-Cardona shut down the high-scoring Blue Devils. She had four saves overall, three coming in the second half in which the Blue Dragons dominated possession.
