Week 7 - Division I KJCCC Women's Soccer Athletes of the Week
Player: Nina Norshie - Barton CC
Nina Norshie continued her historical season jumping into third place in the program's all-time single season goals records adding five more in the Cougars 2-0 week. The freshman collected a 12-point week and assisted on a pair of the Cougars' nine goals scored. Norshie began her week netting her eighth hat trick of the season with four markers in the Cougars 5-1 victory in Garden City while adding an assist. Gaining all attention in Saturday's game, Norshie managed to still find the net helping double up the Cougars lead to 2-0 then ten minutes later adding an assist leading to a three goal first half advantage in Barton's eventual 4-0 shutout at 20th ranked Coffeyville.

Goalkeepers:
Nia Baker - Barton CC
Nia Baker helped #12 Barton to a perfect 2-0 week on the road. Having a 14-day layoff in net, Baker shook off a rough start in the Cougars 5-1 victory at Garden City allowing the first shot faced slip by but the sophomore was nails rejecting the next eighth shots faced over the week. Baker improved to 7-1 in net and posted her third shutout victory in Barton's 4-0 win at 20th ranked Coffeyville.
Kyrah Klumpp - Butler CC
Kyrah Klumpp ran her record to 7-2-1 on the season with a two shutouts this week. Klumpp started and played the first 70 minutes in a 4-0 victory over Neosho County. She then logged all 90 minutes in a 3-0 win vs #17 Hutchinson. Klumpp has a 1.17 GAA on the season and is nearing 1,000 minutes logged.
