2025 KJCCC D2 Women's Soccer Players of the Week - Week 4
COLBY, Kan. – Two new faces highlight this week’s Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Division 2 Women’s Soccer Player of the Week honors as Johnson County’s Brecken Hoy and Highland’s McKenna Glade have each earned their first Player of the Week awards of the 2025 season.
Brecken Hoy (Johnson County) – KJCCC D2 Women’s Soccer Player of the Week
Johnson County midfielder Brecken Hoy showcased her offensive skillset in the Cavaliers' two victories last week. In a 3-0 win over number 20 Allen, Hoy netted the opening goal, which stood as the game-winner, and later added the third tally for her first multi-goal performance of the season. The sophomore followed that effort with a standout showing in Saturday's 5-0 road win at St. Louis, assisting on the game-winning goal and scoring the fourth. Hoy now has six goals on the season, the second-most of any KJCCC D2 women's soccer player.
McKenna Glade (Highland) – KJCCC D2 Women’s Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week
Glade delivered a 2-0 shutout for the Scotties in their lone match of the week as Highland picked up a conference win over Neosho County. In addition to her three saves, Glade had a pair of gutsy defensive plays in the second half, twice venturing well off her line to intercept a long pass and clear it to safety. Glade is currently holding a scoreless streak of 214:57 stretching across three matches.
