2025 KJCCC D2 Women's Soccer Players of the Week - Week 7
COLBY, Kan. – Wins over number five-ranked St. Charles Community College and Allen Community College, the Johnson County Community College women’s soccer team has swept the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Division 2 Women’s Soccer Player of the Week awards for week seven.
Lily Marshall (Johnson County) – KJCCC D2 Women’s Soccer Player of the Week
Johnson County sophomore Lily Marshall netted two goals and an assist in two Cavalier road victories last week. In a 3-1 win at number five-ranked St. Charles, Marshall provided an assist on the game-winning goal and scored the final goal of the match to put the game away. Three days later at Allen, Marshall put JCCC on the board in the 35th minute with her fourth goal of the season. JCCC went on to beat the Red Devils 3-1 to extend their unbeaten streak to 13 straight matches.
Avery Young (Johnson County) – KJCCC D2 Women’s Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week
Johnson County goalie Avery Young raised her record to a perfect 12-0-0 on the season with a pair of road victories last week. Young stopped six of the seven shots she faced to preserve a 3-1 victory at number five St. Charles and capped the week with another 3-1 win at Allen by stopping two of the three shots she encountered.
