2025 KJCCC D2 Women's Soccer Players of the Week - Week 9
COLBY, Kan. – Helping their teams secure the top two seeds in the upcoming NJCAA Region 6/9 Division 2 Women’s Soccer Tournament, Johnson County Community College midfielder Tatum Bresette and Kansas City Kansas Community College goalkeeper Lena Wasow have earned Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Division 2 Women’s Soccer Player of the Week honors.
Tatum Bresette (Johnson County) – KJCCC D2 Women’s Soccer Player of the Week
Johnson County sophomore Tatum Bresette powered the top-ranked Cavaliers' high-powered offense with four goals and five assists for 13 points in two road victories last week. In a 6-0 win at Pratt, Bresette had two goals and an assist before capping her week with two goals and four assists in an 18-0 rout at Southeast. Bresette's four assists tie the sixth-best single-game total in team history. For the season, Bresette has nine assists, which ranks second in the KJCCC.
Lena Wasow (KCKCC) – KJCCC D2 Women’s Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week
Wasow posted a shutout against Highland before playing the first half of a scoreless draw at Neosho County last week to help the number 12-ranked Blue Devils secure the number two seed in the upcoming NJCAA Region 6/9 Tournament. In 11 games this season, Wasow has allowed just four goals and has a 0.51 goals against average, with four shutouts to go along with four combined shutouts.
