2025 KJCCC D1 Women's Soccer Players of the Week - Week 3
COLBY, Kan. – Leading Doge City and Garden City to home victories over Western Texas College last week, Conquistador defender Layla Moreno Cantelejo and Broncbuster goalkeeper Millie D’Ath have each earned their first Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Division 1 Women’s Soccer Player of the Week awards.
Layla Moreno Cantelejo (Dodge City) – KJCCC D1 Women’s Soccer Player of the Week
Dodge City picked up a 3-2 electric win over Western Texas to improve to 2-0, giving the team the best start since 2014. Layla Moreno Cantelejo started the scoring for the Conquistadors with a goal from 33 yards out, ultimately helping the Conqs earn the win.
Millie D’Ath (Garden City) – KJCCC D1 Women’s Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week
Goalkeeper Millie D'Ath anchored Garden City's defense in a 1-0 shutout victory over Western Texas on September 5, 2025. The freshman recorded seven saves, including two key stops around the 26th-minute mark to notch her fourth consecutive clean sheet.
