2025 KJCCC D1 Women's Soccer Players of the Week - Week 4
COLBY, Kan. – A repeat winner and first-time winner, Cowley College’s Sophia Knaab and Garden City’s Milli D’Ath have been named the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Division 1 Women’s Soccer Players of the Week for their performances against ranked foes last week.
Sophie Knaab (Cowley) – KJCCC D1 Women’s Soccer Player of the Week
Knaab helped lead the unbeaten Tigers to a 2-1 road win over number 12-ranked Hutchinson in the first of two matchups between the top two teams in the KJCCC. Providing a pair of assists in the game, Cowley took a second-half lead before getting the game-winning goal in the 79th minute as Knaab set up both goals. The freshman then assisted on the game's opening goal to end the week for Cowley in a 3-0 road win at Seward County while adding a late goal in the 86th minute to score her first collegiate goal.
Millie D’Ath (Garden City) – KJCCC D1 Women’s Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week
Freshman Millie D'Ath anchored Garden City's defense in a 1-0 shutout victory over number 20 Butler Community College, recording nine saves to secure a clean sheet and give the Broncbusters a statement win to improve to 7-0-1.
