Evie Carvell (Hutchinson) – NJCAA D1 Women’s Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week
Hutchinson Community College freshman goalkeeper Evie Carvell earned her first two career wins, first career shutout, and first win over a nationally ranked team to lead the number 15-ranked Blue Dragons. Carvell allowed only one goal with eight saves in wins over number 12 Trinity Valley and Western Wyoming. Against Trinity Valley, Carvell had three saves in four shots faced. Carvell added five saves in a shutout performance in a 3-0 win over Western Wyoming.
Charlotte Gatehouse (Allen) – NJCAA D2 Women’s Soccer Player of the Week
Gatehouse showed true composure and timing of runs with her two goals against Crowder along with an assist to help Allen to a 5-1 home win.
